Zante is home to Laganas, a top partygoer destination. Every year thousands of people travel from all over the world to experience the Zante nightlife. This blog will explain all you need to know about booking an unforgettable lads or girls holiday.

Pre-trip planning

Every great group holiday requires detailed preparation, which normally lands on one person's lap. So let’s help you out.

  • Make sure everyone is in agreement on the dates you plan on going away. The best time to come to Zante is between May and September, with peak season being July to August.

  • Double-check everyone’s passports are valid and decide whether you want travel insurance or not (we recommend it, as it’s better to be safe than sorry).

  • Make sure to book hotels and any airport transfers you need as far in advance as possible, as it will be the cheapest. Your accommodation will be dependent on your group, whether you want to stay in an Airbnb, Hotel or Villa.

  • Book any events and parties, before heading out as it will save you money, time and guarantee you a ticket.

Packing essentials

When going abroad, it’s essential you’ve packed the correct items otherwise you will have to buy things locally which can come at a price. Pack the essentials first and everything else around it. Here is a short list to pack:

  • Party gear: Clothes you want to go out in, this might be a dress or shorts and a T-shirt.

  • Daytime needs: Swimwear, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottles, beach towels.

  • Essentials: Portable chargers, cash, passport, bank cards and ID.

Itinerary

During the day, Zante has plenty to offer for those looking to explore. The top beaches to visit are Navagio Beach, more commonly known as Shipwreck Beach and Laganas Beach which is located at the bottom of the Laganas strip. Those who have hired cars can go to Banana Beach (30minute drive from Laganas) or Porto Limnionas (40 minute drive from Laganas).

Boat trips are also very popular. You can book a boat tour or you can hire your own boat. To hire your own boat you will only need a driving licence so it’s pretty straightforward to hire and very affordable. Another option is Tidal Boat Party which will allow you to experience the Zante nightlife on a boat!

For the nightlife, the Laganas strip is the centre of the action in Zante. We recommend heading to Rescue Club and Cherry Bay, as they are packed every night, with people looking to have a great time. There are also events on certain days that are worth attending; for example, Charlie Sloth headlines at Rescue every Friday, playing the best music on the island.
